We Have Launched on-line Parts Shop Across Europe

By now it is a well established fact that E-commerce is an accelerating global trend among industries used by our competitors to serve large numbers of customers. Companies are actively developing new sales channels and due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, E-commerce has been accelerated even more.

More than 60% of Bobcat machine owners in Europe are buying maintenance parts out of our dealer network and more than 40% do so online.

In response, Bobcat has been working on establishing an E-Commerce channel over the last couple of years. Recently, the parts.bobcat.eu web has been launched in key European markets in an effort to conquer the uncaptured market and strengthen Bobcat’s sales potential.

 

 

To manage customer expectations, the website is positioned as a one-stop-shop for maintenance with a limited product offering of:

  • Non-captive maintenance parts and selected consumables
  • Maintenance instructions and schedules

This solution will bring additional business by attracting more customers that prefer operating in the online environment and looking for their parts online. These customers have the choice now to order the product directly on the webpage or via dealers through traditional means of purchase.
