Belgium dealer Vangaever N.V. fully equipped their team members with Bobcat branded PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). As the company was among the first dealers in the network to do so, we wanted to find out more about their experience and interviewed Hans Vervloet, Aftermarket Manager.

Tell us more about your company Vangaever N.V. and when your journey started with Bobcat EMEA ?
With more than 40 years of experience, Vangaever N.V. is one of the oldest dealers in the Bobcat EMEA network. The pioneering work of founder Marc Vangaever, which consisted of countless SSL-demonstrations with farmers at that time, was the foundation of one of the current key dealers in the EMEA.
Just like in a 40-year marriage, Bobcat and Vangaever N.V. have known many beautiful but also difficult moments. But we love each other and are loyal to each other. That is the real strength of any good relationship.

How and when did you learn about the new Bobcat Personal Protective Equipment range?
The aftermarket manager EMEA at the moment of launch, Piero d’Ilario, came for a personal visit to present the Bobcat Personal Protective Equipment Range, which was received very positively by our staff internally.

What was the feedback of the team members when they saw and tried the first samples?
After we called the whole Vangaever team in Waregem, everyone had a chance to see and touch every PPE, some even tried them on. We all shared the same first impression, the fabric looked and felt high quality.

Why did you decide to equip your workshop team members with Bobcat PPE?
First of all, the price-quality ratio is top-notch. Second, to create more uniformity in our workplace. On top of that, our company owner, Bruno Vangaever, gave each member of the team in the 3 stores (Waregem, Lummen and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw) an outdoor soft-shell jacket as a gift for the end of the year.

Does the team like them? What features do they appreciate?
The whole team agreed that the level of quality is very good and they also like how they look wearing the PPE.

Bobcat branded PPE are well fitting your team, adding branding value for all your customers coming to the workshop. Are you planning to propose them to your end-customers?
Yes, we will include them in future on- and offline communication towards our customers.
