Shoe Pad Kits For Steel Tracks

RUBBER SHOE PAD KITS FOR STEEL TRACKS

Rubber track pads are used on surfaces such as pavement, asphalt, or concrete areas, to prevent damage that would be caused by steel tracks. This solution adds versatility to your steel track equipped excavators. Keep the original steel tracks for tougher applications, and simply add on the rubber pads when the situation calls for it. No worries! This operation is reversible; installation typically requires approximately two hours and can be conveniently performed even on-site, whenever the need arises.

Besides surface protection, rubber track pads also offer quieter operation, giving the operator a smoother ride with less vibration. Rubber track pads can also be a more cost effective option, when switching between rubber and steel tracks is not possible.

SHOE PADS WEAR

Rubber track pads are different from steel as they need some extra care. Regular inspections are vital to ensure their longevity. Keep an eye out for signs of wear, like cracks in the track pads. If you can see the steel underneath the rubber, it’s a clear sign that it’s time to replace them.
