The European Chemicals Agency has introduced a new regulation regarding the classification and labeling of coolant products, which will come into effect starting on the 23^rd of November 2023.

Bobcat coolant products will be impacted by this new regulation and, as a result, the following changes must be implemented:

• As of November 23^rd, Bobcat coolants will only be sold to professional users.
  • A professional user is a legal or natural person with a VAT number who purchases and uses a product. The general public (end consumers) is not classified as professional users.

  • This new regulation only applies to coolants sold in Europe, not in other regions.
• As of November 23^rd, the back labels of Bobcat coolants will be updated to include the statement ‘For professional use only.’

We would like to inform you that certain products may not be available for order during this transition phase, which is anticipated to last until the end of November. This is necessary to ensure that all of our stock is re-labeled in compliance with the new legislation. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

What does this mean for Bobcat dealers and partners?

• As of November 23^rd, you may only sell Bobcat coolants to professional users (legal or natural persons with a VAT number) and not to end consumers.
• As of November 23^rd, Bobcat coolants will require a new back label. To meet this updated requirement, Bobcat will proactively send the new labels to your businesses. If you happen to have any remaining stock of Bobcat coolants, you are obligated to re-label the products with the new labels in order to sell them to professional users.
