Develop Your Knowledge & Skills With Our New Parts Training & Certification

Getting the full picture

Parts advisory & sales is a complex skill that combines knowledge from a wide spectrum of Bobcat’s business activities — from a solid understanding of our machines’ features to mastering the functioning of multiple components and understanding the market situation. And that’s not all: combining all of this know-how with soft skills is widely expected from sales staff.

Training is a path forward

Acquiring all of these skills is not a question of a single training — it’s a process which combines multiple training sessions & practical experiences. Bobcat is ready to accompany you and we have prepared a training path that is embedded into a 3-phase Certification process:

Professional level – Start with this 1st level to learn (or refresh) the fundamental information about Bobcat, its products and systems. Whether you have been with Bobcat for a short time or have many years of experience with Bobcat machines, we believe that everyone will learn something interesting.

Expert level – Continue to the 2nd level which is based on knowledge from “Professional level”. Participants will discover more sophisticated products (such as Protection Plus, MaxControl and more) and will get the support needed to improve their soft skills. This level is completed by specific PSSR (Parts & Service Sales Representative) training to confirm the acquired knowledge and its practical application.

Master level – Under construction for 2023, stay tuned!

Questions & answers

How do I register for certification? It’s easy, just follow these 4 steps:

  • Login to DBLC (Doosan Bobcat Learning Center) using Passport
  • Click on BOBCAT INSTITUTE OFFERING

  • Choose Bobcat Parts Training menu

  • And click on “certification” at the bottom of the page

Or simply click on this LINK. Then registration process is the same as for all other courses.

I’ve already passed some of the training in the certification process, am I required to retake them? No, if you have done it already, it will be taken into account. You only need to go through those parts of the training which you have not participated in yet.

How do I know how far I’m in the certification process or which courses do I need to take? You have full visibility of progress from your profile, and it’s easy to launch missing courses from there as well.

I’m from the Middle East and some products and services aren’t available in my region. Should I still go take all the courses? A large part of the courses is mandatory for everybody as we believe that it’s good to have a good overview about Bobcat. However, we’ve reflected regional specifics by marking some parts of the training as “optional”.

Are there any charges for the training/certification?All courses included in the “Professional” level and majority of the “Expert” level are web-based training. Web-based training is currently free of charge and available online 24/7.

Is there any deadline for finishing all the courses included in the certification? As we stated at the beginning, we see certification as a path and learning should be combined with practical applications and experiences. Taking into account the number of courses, we have set the maximum duration of Level 1 (Professional) certification to 6 months.

Good luck in developing your knowledge and skills.
