Bobcat Service Cloud Updates

Bobcat is pleased to announce a number of improvements to the Bobcat Service Cloud.

1. Improved linkage to My Machine

In order to ensure you minimise the amount of time spent troubleshooting a machine, we encourage you to use the troubleshooting guides in My Machine. Since Bobcat launched the tool in Dec 2021 we have continued to improve the guides and as a reminder, these guides also cover various symptoms on the machine as well as all fault codes.

From Jan 2023, you will no longer be able to directly submit a Compact Service Case directly from the Bobcat Service cloud. The button will be removed and you will instead need to use the troubleshooting guides in My Machine as the first step. If you’re not able to resolve the issue with the guide, there will be the option to escalate the case and this will open the form to create a Compact Service Case in the Bobcat Service Cloud.

 

 

For attachments that do not have a serial number, we are adding the option to submit a case too, with a new link below the field to enter the machine serial number where you can click on Non-Serialized Asset.

 

 

This will open a simple form to allow you to start the case submission process in the Bobcat Service Cloud.

 

 

The benefit for you is that these guides are freely available 24 hours a day to all your technicians to use, reducing their reliance on your service manager. With these guides, you should be able to resolve the majority of issues you encounter. If not, and you need to submit a case, it’s easy with just the click of a button needed. A Bobcat Troubleshooter will be able to see the steps you made during your troubleshooting and provide you with a more tailored response of what to do next.

2. Change in button name for “New Pre-Approval Case” to “New Efficiency Approval Case”

To reflect the naming used in the warranty policy, and the recent eNews article clarifying the meaning of efficiency approval, the Bobcat Service Cloud has been updated to bring it in line with the Bobcat wording now used. There are no changes to the form or the approval process.

 

 

3. Updated Bobcat Service Cloud URL

Bobcat is making a change to the URL to the Bobcat Service Cloud.

The new URL is www.hub.bobcat.eu — if you have the paged saved as a favourite, please make sure you update that to the new URL.

All the Bobcat links will be updated to the new URL too.

4. Improved Bobcat Service Cloud Login

As part of Bobcat’s continuous improvement to our website security and ease of login, the Bobcat Service Cloud will now be linked to our Global Systems and you will have the option to use the single sign-on.

 

 

The new global single sign-on is linked to Doosan Passport, and all users must have a valid Passport account to use this feature.

Accounts not set up in Passport will not be able to use this feature and can continue to use their existing Bobcat Service Cloud login credentials. If you have a Passport account, but do npt have a Bobcat Service Cloud licence, you will still require the correct licence to use the service.
