Bobcat North America has phased-out their current hydraulic oil to introduce two new hydraulic oils, VG46 (blue) and VG68 (red)

• VG46 is the standard viscosity grade for all Bobcat equipment and attachments manufactured in North America (E88, MT100, L23, L28, T66, S66, T76, S76, T770, S770)
• VG68 is a higher viscosity oil, specifically for T86/S86 compact loaders operating in warm regions or in harsh operating conditions.

Bobcat equipment, imported from North America to the EMEA region, will be first filled with these new oils starting November 2022.

Bobcat Superior SH, used in the EMEA region as factory first-fill and for aftermarket, with its unique premium formula, has established a long-term proven performance on the field and will be the choice for EMEA dealers when it comes to draining the hydraulic fluid for North American imported equipment.

Bobcat Superior SH, used in the EMEA region, is compatible with VG46 and VG68 for top-up in any proportion; due to inherent different color (blue/red vs orange), this is expected that the resulting oil color will be affected, but the performance will not. Note that flushing the entire hydraulic systems will not be necessary before switching to Bobcat Superior SH.

Current Bobcat Superior SH, used in the EMEA region, will remain in place as factory first-fill hydraulic oil, as well as for aftermarket use in all existing packaging sizes.

A new hydraulic oil will be introduced in EMEA region, the Bobcat Hydraulic ISO VG68, available in 2.5 Gallon (9.46L) package size, for S86/T86 compact loaders which feature advanced hydraulic systems that require the use of Bobcat Hydraulic ISO VG68 oil, when operating in warm regions or in harsh operating conditions.

When operating the S86/T86 compact loaders in a cold climate, where a better cold start performance is needed (below -12°C), we do recommend the use of our current Bobcat Superior SH Hydraulic / Hydrostatic.
