Automatic Ride Control Kits

Automatic Ride control is the industry term used for cushioning the loader lift circuit, helping smooth the ride. The cushioning is accomplished by adding an accumulator to the loader lift circuit.

The Bobcat Automatic Ride Control kit offers many benefits:

  • Reduces bounce when operating on uneven ground conditions
  • Minimises bucket spillage and improves material handling
  • Reduces operator fatigue

Designed by Bobcat and for your Bobcat equipment, the kits will fit your machine perfectly, offering an integrated solution.

In order to help you and your customer quickly select the right part number, we have created a compatibility matrix for Skid-Steer Loaders, Compact Track Loaders, and Compact Wheel Loaders.

How does it work?

With the lift arms slightly raised off, the boom stops, and the accumulator absorbs the lift circuit oil depending on the surface condition (similar to a shock absorber in vehicles). The effect is to cushion the ride (take out the bounce) on uneven ground.

What are the benefits of Bobcat Automatic Ride Control compared to competitors’ technology?

Bobcat Automatic Ride Control is not speed dependent and can be manually switched ON and OFF, adapting to the operator’s needs.
