Amazing Rubber Track Sales by Centrocar

Centrocar is having an incredible boom in rubber track sales, capturing more than 100% of the potential (selling to other brands customers) and increasing the revenue by 88% versus last year. That is very unique achievement, and we would like to congratulate Centrocar on this. Let’s take a look together with Joao Mano (Parts Manager, Centrocar) how they managed to have such a successful year once again:

1. How long have you been a part of the Bobcat family and how did your story
						begin?
					
Centrocar started the relationship with Bobcat around winter 2013 as a natural step-up
					from our relation with Doosan, which went back a long time.
				
2. How have you managed to capture almost 90% of the potential in
						rubber tracks for the
						second year in a row?
					
We managed such good penetration of the market thanks to Bobcat’s support and through our
					integrated approach to the market, providing a well-proven, quality solution at very good value. We also focused on marketing campaigns with special offers for our
					customers and we always try to keep our prices competitive.
				
3. If you could highlight just one thing – what was behind such an outstanding
						performance in the
						rubber tracks category?
					
If we had to name only one, it would be our strong presence on the market and good
					knowledge of the business environment.
				
4. How would you describe Bobcat rubber
						tracks in three
						words?
					
We would mention the same strong advantages, which help us in communication towards the customers:
					Bobcat brand, quality, and price.
				
5. Could you reveal the secret of explaining the customers that
						Bobcat rubber tracks are
						the best option available to them?
					
The simple fact that we’re offering a proven, quality product at a competitive price in
					comparison with lower quality tracks offered by other companies is self-explanatory for most customers. We also really want to emphasize the fact that we provide an excellent
					product support in cooperation with Bobcat, which makes all processes much easier.
				
6. Regarding the price of Bobcat rubber tracks – which factors are
						the most important
						during calculation of your price?
					
For us, at Centrocar, regarding all competitive fast moving items, we want to charge
					reasonable prices and margins, because without that, we would simply just not succeeded on the
					market. That’s why our approach is different – we don’t want to overcharge our
					customers, because we believe that only together in synchronization with customer needs, we are
					able to perform even better.
				
7. Do you get approached by customers needing rubber tracks not only
						for Bobcat machines, but also
						for other brands?
					
Yes! Since day one, this was one of our goals to offer integrated solutions to the market
					and provide tracks which are compatible with machines of different brands as well.
				
8. What is the most unconventional encounter with the rubber tracks
						that you have
						experienced?
					
Up until now, we have been very fortunate and we have not had any bad experience to report so far.
