Bobcat Maxcontrol Remote Operation
Bobcat MaxControl remote operation is a system that enables operators to control their Bobcat loaders from up to 300 feet away with any Apple device running the iOS operating system, such as the iPad and iPhone. Now it’s like having an extra set of hands — a customer can complete a simple two-person job by him/herself or perform quick and simple operations without entering the loader.
HOW IT WORKS
- Any of your customers’ Bobcat loaders equipped with selectable joystick controls can be fitted by your dealership with a durable, job-tested Bobcat MaxControl component box and a single wiring harness. This system is not for newest machines only. Any selectable joystick controls loader can be fitted, even if produced 15 years ago.
- Once the simple install on a customer’s loader is done, the customer can download the Bobcat MaxControl app from the Apple App Store to their iPad or iPhone. Then, the dealer will authorize the owner for that machine in the app. The owner can then authorize and invite users (operators) to download the app. The owner will also determine which operators have access to which machines.
- After completing setup of the app, your customer can control their Bobcat loaders from outside of the cab with the Bobcat MaxControl app. If your customer has multiple loaders on the same site with Bobcat MaxControl, they can select which machine to control in the app. Unlike other remote operation systems, there are no additional controls needed. Your customer just needs the app on an Apple device.

Your customer can do a quick two-person job with one person using Bobcat MaxControl remote operation. It’s like having an extra set of hands. Or the customer can perform quick tasks without needing to enter the cab.
- Once you install the necessary hardware on your customers’ loaders, all they need to enable remote operation with an iPad or iPhone – and the Bobcat MaxControl app.
- If your customer has multiple loaders on the same site equipped with the Bobcat MaxControl hardware, they can choose which loader to control remotely from the app. Operators can only control one loader at a time, but it is simple to switch between machines.
- Transferable. The MaxControl can be easily removed and transferred to another location and used on different machine.
ORDERING INFORMATION
Bobcat MaxControl Remote Operation kits can be ordered through Bobcat Aftermarket (PN 7417974).
Each kit includes a component box and wiring harness that can be installed with any Bobcat loader that has Selectable Joystick Controls (SJC).
The Rear Window Removal Kit is also required for the Bobcat MaxControl Remote Operation kit. (Part Numbers: R-Series: 7376915, M-Series: 6725946)
Before ordering it is mandatory for Bobcat dealers to complete training Bobcat MAXCONTROL Remote Operation in Doosan Bobcat Learning Center.
