New BobCARE launched in UK

Reflecting market trends

Customer expectations are continuously shifting from ‘owning a machine’ to ‘care-free usage’. Bobcat is taking these trends into account, reflecting the need for consistent customer experience and dealers´ need for a simple and easily manageable offering. The United Kingdom has a high adoption of Protection Plus and the market is very receptive to all kinds of services offerings. This is why choosing the UK as a pilot country made perfect sense.

BobCARE values

BobCARE planned maintenance is already known and appreciated by customers for many benefits it brings such as longer machine life, increased uptime or higher residual value. However, until now it has only been managed at an individual dealer level, which could not completely fulfill customer expectations. In collaboration with dealers, Bobcat came up with new solution that keeps all previous advantages while adding some new perks:

 

Unified customer experience – once a new BobCARE plan is purchased and activated, it is valid and recognized in the whole country, letting customers get a machine maintained at the most convenient dealer branch based on the machine’s current location.

 

Fully predictable expenses – the new BobCARE price is final and clearly stated at the start of the contracts. This makes maintenance costs completely resistant to inflation.

 

Bobcat backed – customers, dealers and leasing partners are completely covered. Bobcat is standing behind its contract and guarantees its fulfillment throughout the entire contract period.

 

The usual benefits with important improvements

During the development, Bobcat has given major focus on making BobCARE simple and intuitive in all aspects. Therefore, existing systems and processes (iSTORE, IRW etc.) have been incorporated and simplified wherever possible – such as by bringing pre-filled maintenance claims.

All–in-one

It’s clear that a complex service contract is naturally a part of machine sales – the current market trend is to perceive service packages as a machine option. Therefore, our lease partners have been brought on board of the development and will support an “all-in-one approach.” Machine, attachments, Protection Plus, BobCARE, financing – all covered by a monthly fee so that customers can focus on their own business.
