Doors for selected Telescopics models manufactured approximately between 2004 to 2018 have been unavailable for several months as our supplier for these components declared bankruptcy. The tooling, owned by Bobcat, was lost during the bankruptcy process, which left no possibility to have these doors manufactured.

The part numbers affected are as follows:

Most machines to which these doors fit are more than a decade old, however we are committed to offering a solution to our customers and therefore have been actively working on finding a new manufacturer.

In 2021, a potential supplier was identified, but it was found out that it would be even slower to replicate the old design. A change of design was therefore approved to assure a faster launch following the development process, including the prototype production, engineering validation and serial manufacturing. The design and manufacturing process will be similar to newer Bobcat Telescopics models and will have a different shape on the edge of the upper and lower doors.

Due to the design change, only the upper or lower part of the door (in other words only the frame without glass) will not be compatible with the other components of the old door. Any of these components will therefore need to be replaced by a new complete door including the glass.
