LLMS customer calibrations

New Customer process LLMS (Longitudinal Load Moment System) calibration

Following the implementation of Service Analyzer version 90.02 in the factory (18th Feb. 2022), the Longitudinal Load Moment System (LLMS) Calibration might be authorized for end customers as required on R-Series TLS.

In order to make this possible, the following requirements MUST be fulfilled:

  • SOFTWARE VERSION: SERVICE ANALYZER V90.02 or higher must be installed (Software upgrade must be performed on TLS R-Series produced before implementation date).
  • CUSTOMER EDUCATION: LLM System Calibration training is achieved
  • DELIVERY REPORT: DR must mention customer is educated and be signed by the customer. If the machine was already retailed, a new copy of the latest delivery report version, acknowledging their acceptance of training should be attached to the machine in IRW.
  • LLMS CALIBRATION CHART: LLM System Calibration chart must be in the cabin at the disposal of the operator

A deeper detailed explanation on each requirement can be found in knowledge article:

1423 (EN)
1432 (FR)

The calibration of the LLMS is part of the normal maintenance of the machine, thus it is not covered by Bobcat warranty policy. In case a customer is not willing to be trained, the calibration must be performed by an authorized person (dealer technician) and charged as a standard maintenance operation.

Any warranty claims Bobcat received for performing LLMS calibrations on R-series TLS machines will be rejected under this new policy.
