Your customers may have discovered that mud sometimes finds its way into the underside of R-Series loader cabs through the side and by the drive hoses. In addition to mud, light debris such as sawdust, paper and dirt can accumulate in the gaps between the cab and main frame.

In addition to existing cabin sealing kits, and to help your customers avoid costly damages to the electrical components and reduce the amount of debris collecting under the loader cab, we are introducing the R-Series Loader Frame Seal Kits which are now available to order through the EMEA Parts portal.

Educate your customers on proper maintenance

Make sure that your customers with R-Series loaders are aware of the access cover for cleaning out debris under the cab. If the customer is consistently working in muddy conditions or working on forestry applications with fine debris, such as sawdust, they should consider cleaning out areas underneath the cab on a regular basis.

If there are larger rocks or debris in the belly pan, ensure that your customers know about the cab cleanout cover at the foot pod of the cab. Even though it may be easy to kick debris from inside the cab through the cleanout hole, your customers will eventually have to clean out the belly pan to avoid damage.
